This seems like an ideal kitchen rug. We are using ours (2'x3') in front of our kitchen sink. It's soft and comfortable to stand on. Our Boston Terrier likes to lay on it and make herself an obstacle to getting to the sink. It seems to be well made. It doesn't slide when it's stepped on. We think the chevron type design is attractive and the graduated colors make it look more interesting, but that's a personal preference item. Haven't cleaned it yet, but the instructions say to vacuum and spot clean. It is made of polypropylene, so it should resist a lot of stains. The larger sizes would probably be well suited to a lot of other uses.
